She ate almost 8 oz of food yesterday as compared to 6.5-7 oz pre-illness. Not too sure about this morning. She ate 1.6 oz of her own food and almost all of Jammu's - and his food was turkey (not her favorite) plus home made ground. Looks like the pills are working and her appetite is back.
Today will be the most fun day, medication-wise. She had her appetite pill and Denamarin (support liver function) pill this morning and will need 3 pills tonight. This will be the most pills in one day that she will need to take. Fortunately she is tolerating the Clavamox well as I remember having issues with nausea with a previous cat. While it is a 2 person job, pilling her is actually not that difficult. I just love my little sweetheart!

So glad to hear Rafiki is eating well and on the mend.
Feel for you needing to pill her so many times but glad she is tolerating things. A bit of a difference in opinion, if pilling a cat or kitten takes two people I would classify it as difficult. Dooley wasn't the easiest to pill, but I didn't have to call in reinforcements. Clipping his Nails is difficult, it might be best suited for 3 or 4 people.
Also, just a little tip that I believe came from Brigitte, never call them when you are getting ready to pill them. Makes it a bigger episode than it needs to be and plus they can have some trust issues about you calling them and then ramming something down their throat. Also known as the banana in the tailpipe amongst SVs, and a great deal of shame for any cat that falls for it.

That is a good point, John. She normally follows me around so calling her is usually not an issue. Steve will scoop her up and place her sort of on her back. I open the mouth with one hand and toss the pill down with the other. If needed, I probably could pill her solo. She is a bit squirmy, that is all. I often clip the nails by myself although it does go faster when Steve is there as I don't have to stop after each paw for cuddles.
