Rafiki not eating

Human baby food is the other trick I use to get cats to eat at times. If she has an issue with texture have you checked inside her mouth to make sure there are no sores, growths, or bad teeth? Tuesday seems like a long way off but hopefully she will get over herself and start eating 'normally' again in another day or so.

I hope she feels better. Hopefully it's just a finicky kitty phase and she will start eating normally again. I thought the same thing that Patti asked about her teeth and gums.

Friskies is another food you may want to try... You may also want to try applaws... It is not a complete food, but may work in the interim... Hopefully she starts eating soon... My cats stopped eating darwin a while ago...

She ate about 2 oz of raw this morning. Jammu decided that her chopped cooked chicken was delicious. Sigh. Hopefully the hubby can convince her to eat a bit more. Oh, and she ate a house fly. Yum.

I pureed some of it and will try that tonight. If only I could just feed her flies....she seems to really enjoy those.

I will also try to "brush" her teeth tonight and check her teeth and gums. She loves to chew on an old toothbrush with cat toothpaste on it. I last did this Sunday and did not see anything amiss. She also chomps on cat dental chew sticks and duck feet so I really did not look very carefully on Sunday as I dismissed this as a potential cause.

She ate another 2 oz of raw (very liberally covered with kitty crack) and about 2 tablespoons of cooked ground. I will try to convince her to eat a bit more in a couple of hours.

Do you weigh her on a regular or semi-regular basis? Has she lost weight?

Yes. She has lost about a 1/2 lb since I weighed her last month. She had been weighing in at just under 13-1/2 lbs and she was just under 13 lbs yesterday morning.
