Ahhh... poor Rafiki. She's had a rough period here lately. Sending well wishes your way!

Left ankle is swollen. Going to run X-rays and have ortho take a look.

Oddly enough she jumped onto the exam table for them.

Linda, you need to have a long talk with that girl. She is getting too klutzy

We had to leave Rafiki at the ER. The place was totally nuts today with all sorts of emergencies. Unfortunately, the Ortho surgeon was called into surgery before he had a chance to look at Rafiki's x-rays. It will be at least 2 hours before she will be seen. Nothing appears broken in the x-ray but the x-rays were not properly labeled so they are going to redo them. She was fine this morning. It was sometime between her breakfast and the humans' breakfast that we noticed that something was up. The onset was pretty rapid and we did not hear any loud thumps that would indicate that she had not landed properly. They will also shave the leg to make sure that there are no other injuries. It could be a spider or bee bite as well.
