Rate of Growth

My little girl (F7 SBT) is currently 5 pounds (2.3 kg) at 26 weeks. She seems to eat well (good litter box content too) and leaves left overs, so I think she fills her belly. She does look quite thin though. Should she be eating more? She eats about 270 to 360 calories a day. I've attached some pictures so you can see what she looks like right now.

She looks fine to me, very healthy really! I think that some cats simply aren't destined to be huge cats and the later generation females are unlikely to be very large.

Okay thanks. I was asking about if she's too thin, not if she's going to be big. I know that's pretty random and the lower generations tend to be smaller, especially females.

That wasn't so clear from your post. As I said, she looks fine, Savannahs should be tall, long but lean so generally don't weigh as much as other chunkier builds of cat might.

She looks beautiful to me, although I understand where the concern comes from when we see a lean cat. Just not what we are used to.

A cat not motivated by food is a wonderful thing, only eating what they need, and hopefully never gets too picky about what they eat.

all my Savannahs are lean, athletic, and very very playful. except one who's nickname is fatboy!!! Your girl looks pretty standard for the majority of Savannah's body types, regardless of generation. smallish head, lanky body, tis the desired attributes of a Savannah. As long as she is eating well, poop is good, having the standard vet check ups and treatment, all is good. Just love her and bless your lucky stars.
