Well.. Fat/meat can bind it up, I wouldn't recommend it... Unless your wanting a new blender ;)

Do any of you know if a manual meat grinder works just as well for making your own cat food? The cost of the electric grinders is what steered me off of it, but then I realized the manual ones might work just as well.

Matt, I tried it and it did not work well...Amazon has an STX meat grinder that is relatively inexpensive and works really well...

Sorry, late on this, but there are some pretty good manual meat grinders out there. A friend has one from LEM that if you want the workout, it will do the trick.
