John, your positive outlook is inspirational. I am thrilled to hear Trish is improving, and out of the hospital. You are in my prayers as you move forward.

John,
We here have all been heartsick after hearing the news. It is wonderful to see your post and to know that through all of this hardship both you and Trish will be ok. You are far stronger than I would be in this situation.

Keep us updated and if there is anything you need, please ask and we will try to help.

That post brought tears to my eyes again for your babies. I have been hugging Whiskey like there's no tomorrow since finding out and also (and here's a positive for all of us) appreciating what I have no matter how humble and realizing how precious life and our furbabies all are. John and Trish, I will keep you in my prayers.

I'm sure I'm in a quantumly small group who don't do PayPal, anyway to send in a donation snail mail?

My heart is a little lighter hearing that your wife is recovering. Know that we are all holding you both in our hearts as you take the next steps to rebuild. Much love and quick healing to you both.

The news of your dear wife Trish being released is like a song from the heavens. Blessings to you both. I have only had my new kitty since sept. she is 7 months old. She has brought laughter and joy to our household. Just in the short time we have had her makes me think of how easy it is to love unconditionally these incredible angels with fur and not having any idea of the amount of pain and sense of loss you both are experiencing. I am so sorry. Sending prayers........

I am VERY new here, but I spent most of yesterday and last night reading the posts from the past on the different forums, so I feel like I know many of you and John is one of the ones on that list. Is there an address that those of us who don't have pay pal can send a check through snail mail to Paige for John and Trish? My son-in-law is named John and my daughter is named Trish, so this pair is doubly close to my heart. I would like to help them. They will stay high on my prayer list, and I know just how powerful prayers can be. My granddaughter, Jordi was in a horrible car wreck on Halloween night. She was medevac'd to Harborview, but they did not think she would make it. Once the prayer chains throughout the country were notified and activated, she made an amazing recovery in far less time than the doctors predicted. I will pray that it is the same for John and Trish.

Dinah, I will ask John to pop on and give an address privately...thank you so much!

So glad to hear your wife is out of the hospital, and I pray for her good health to return quickly. Not too long ago, our local fire dept. had an open house. I decided to take my son, and am glad I did! People don't realize the loads they carry just in equipment. The fact that they can find and rescue in zero visibility is absolutely amazing. It is most surely a labor of love, because it definitely isn't for the money. One volunteer told me that they only get $10 per call and it doesn't matter if the call lasts for 3 days. I salute the brave men and women who put it all on the line each and every day. May their selflessness never go unrewarded.
