LOL! I'm trying to envision this. Mine aren't really into touching litter...they tend to not dig and to balance paws on the walls to touch as little as possible...and they don't cover, not even my British Shorthair covers poop.He will dig in the litter though.

I use wood pellet litter though, maybe if it was more sand textured (clay or clumping type) maybe there'd be more appeal to make more mess?

What kind of litterbox are you using? Maybe a higher sided box (like a clear plastic tote) might contain her mess better?

Its not that she makes a huge mess, its like shes having a battle with it. Goes in does her stuff, then its like a war lol. Its kinda funny to watch. NO issues though. She hides it all, so maybe thats why. Shes being a lady not leaving a thing behind to see lol. Its a covered one. Had the regular one, and she did not like it. She likes it. Shes just a little nuts I guess lol

Just be glad she buries it! Rafiki is much better at burying her back legs than the poop. Jammu often buries it for her.....but he scatters litter in a 2 foot radius around that box. We have to vacuum the laundry room every 2-3 days!

The purina maxx is pretty good. Doesnt make much mess, and its pretty much dust free. Completely buries it, have to dig to find it to clean it lol!

Tojo sounds like he's digging to China when he's in his litter box and is in there a really long time, buries well, and scatters litter all over the laundry room. Naya barely touches the litter, and doesn't bury well. Tojo has been seen jumping in and finishing burying it for her :roflmao:

I used to have a Himy that would clean up after others. She would use her paws and sweep all the loose litter and place it right up against the sides of the box. I could use her help now!

Zeddie used to be crazy with her litter but I got her a bigger box and that solved that problem.

Both of mine are diggers. Tiger (my dsh) doesn't bury anything. Every morning when the Savannahs are released from their prison (my room) they go to the litter boxes and bury anything Tiger did overnight. They hate anything unburied in the boxes. Jimmy will even bury Tiger's pee while he's doing it!:eek:
