Savannah Kitten Fell Into the Bathtub

Oh dear....very bloody diarreah this morning. :( Yesterday, we realized that my daughter had left hear earbud headphones on the couch...one of the soft plastic earbud covers was missing...the other was in front of the scratching post....we fear baby swallowed it. It was small and very soft and flexible...could this be causing the problem? I'm going to get him to the vet as soon as my husband takes my daughter to school.....I think we need to xray - give his history, as although the previous diarreah kind of resolved, his poops have been pretty soft even with being on the Tylosil. Does anyone have any advice? I'm so worried that the vet will say he needs surgery...I hear that obstruction-type surgeries are very dangerous for kittens....:( My adult cat swallowed something last year and I just gave him massive amounts of hairball treatment and it slipped right out.....
Not completely sure what the etiquette is for these pages, but I've posted this problem on the Vet forum...moderator, my apologies for having this posted twice, but I'm not sure how to move it from here.

I had terrible trouble with Djembe with the exact same symptoms! My vet worked so hard, making phone calls to exotic vets, etc. Djembe is an F4. I tried pumpkin, green beans, all kinds of homemade food ( this was over a long period of time). He even dripped bloody diarrhea when he didn't know it, like on chairs, tables, the floor. We FINALLY took him to Virginia Tech vet school. They put him on a Science Diet canned prescription diet ( I can't remember what, maybe A-D) and within a week....all was cured! Maybe he just outgrew his problem, but he's four and has never had the problem again.

Has he been checked for T foetus?

Thank you for your post - that is so encouraging! Zuri is also an F4...the cattery he came from is Tri-Trich negative and he has also been PCR tested for uncommon parasite panel etc. and tested negative as well. He is on Science Diet GI high energy and since he went on that, and Tylosin, the diarreah mostly resolved...today's issue with the blood is a first. :( I have been talking to the breeder, who is wondering about coccydia and has suggested a regular float-test to start....
