I'm still short on enough data to reach a conclusion. Lots of gaps in the data set and seemingly a few outliers.

When I return home I'll do an interim summary and also point out where more data is needed.

Love to do more, but I would need substantially more data.

John,
I get my cats tomorrow and have a vet appointment set for Tuesday. I can get you their weights that evening.
The female is a 3yr old F5 and the younger male is 13 weeks F5.

That would be great!

I am focusing on adults, 3 years of age or older, although just personal interest intrigues me about the rest. Perhaps at some point other data will come into play, just really want to provide a snap shot that gives a real view of the size of our beloved pets. Certainly some of them are large and unfortunately the media oft uses these outliers to promote a bogus perception.

If I recall correctly, 70% of the svs surveyed are between 10-17 lbs and heavily weighted in early generations. Just need to fill in some extra data to paint a pretty clear picture.

John,
I stopped into a vet on my way home with the cats and got their weights.

F5 female, age 3, 9 lbs.
F5 male, age 13 weeks, 4lbs.

She was recently spayed, he is currently intact.

Brooklyn and Isabis are going to the vet today. I'll post Brooklyn's weight when I get back. She's 4. Oh and Isabis too for the personal interest. ;)

John,
I have corrections for the weights of Yuki and Yeti. My normal vet gave me the accurate weights.

Yuki, 3yrs, 7lbs 13oz
Yeti, 13 weeks, 3lbs 2oz

Apparently the vet at the first place I stopped by was bad at converting from metric which is what their scale shows.
