Select exotics is even more expensive in some cases.

You may need to be patient and wait for the right kitten/price.

I know Select Exotics went up on their prices too since I bought my F3 there. I was expecting to get my next savannah there too, but the high prices are keeping me away!:( I would even be interested in Savannah Cat Lands adult female F1 she is selling for a cheaper price I heard from Alice, but I would have to visit there and see it in person. I think the cattery is to far away to drive to go and see it...:(

Well...before you do any of that, you need to ask why the price is only $3000...I do not believe that breeder allows visits, but I could be wrong...you will have to email her and ask.

Also...you guys need to start a new thread on this...we are not talking about scam websites in the last few posts and I cannot move individual posts at this time.

Hi Everyone! I am looking and trying hard to buy my first Savannah kitten--tho certainly not new to cats, wet and dry:) I have 22 emails, from a "Louise and Melisa" who sent me the most gorgeous pics of their litter, and of the parents: king is Querk, serval, mother is Hadie F2 sired. "MY" kitten is Sony Walker. I think it's a scam? They want the $$$ sent to them, THEN they will tell me the name of the courier company who will deliver the cat to my door? But I can't find out any information from them, and the one phone number I have comes up as a consulting internet co. in New Foundland. But they told me Ontario....but Sony is incredibly gorgeous!!!
Does anybody know these people? They gave me 2 references-1 no reply, 1 who was so upset that
her/his name was given they wouldn't talk. They stated courier cost as $205.00 above the price of cat. Please help?
Thank you very much.
Be real careful, all sounds like a scam. When a breeder talks about a per courier, not good. Many breeder handle it all by their self's to get the kittens shipped out. My advice, don't send any money...

I have been searching for a savannah cat. I have sent out quite a bit of emails in the past few weeks so I am unsure of who I had sent this email to initially. The first email I received was 2 of the same email claiming a price that was seriously too good to be true. It said the expected size of the kitten when fully grown was exactly what a savannah information site had stated almost to the t. Claimed kittens were 12 weeks old (1st red flag) claimed were f2 kittens and was willing to ship by "premium door step delivery" was insistent on when I would like the kittens. And didn't care about state law (ny state is illegal to own an f4 or lower generation) ( red flag 2) I had to fight to get a phone number. And didn't seem concerned about if I planned to breed, or what my living conditions were until after asking about when to get kittens (red flag 3). Claims to be in Massachusetts I did reverse of phone numbers came back with nothing and are Massachusetts area code. He claimed couldn't talk because was at work, works crazy hours, wouldn't give a time when shift was over, called phone and voicemail had corresponding name on voicemail but had an accent. somewhat oriental or philopene perhaps ( pardon my mis-spelling). So as I continued to text him because he insisted. I began my search. I found this. The same names almost same story. I found it strange the kittens names were in capital letters in the first place.
Same story/...

with them so i and my wife both decided to sell them. We are presently
located in Pittsfield,MA and that is where the kittens will be coming.
You will be paying a total of $1000 for both kittens and also you need

This is the first text message I recieved from him
"My numbers are (413) 391-2894 or (413) 398-0727. How soon will you like to get the kittens please ?"
He goes by the name of Anthony pelegrin in the email and on his voicemail
He claims to not be a breeder that his mother is. But if he is moving why would be get rid of such young kittens? Why would he have taken in the kitten in the first place.:...... Exactly., and when I found the prior link I knew for a fact it was the same scam. be careful guys. Below are two of the group of photos he had sent to me with the initial email. Go figure this happens the day I register to be a part of your forum to learn more about these gorgeous cats. It makes me sick that people try to con others. At least this one was quite obvious thank goodness.

Sounds like a classic scam. Registered with "all cat clubs"? LOL! You should ask if they are CFA-registered... most scammers say yes, some even claim AKC registration ;-)
