Silly cat won't eat chicken

I am sure that Bella knows.

Sean, frozen mice and one day old quail go over very well here...but...if Zuri had her way, she would eat only the one day old quail, which has virtually NO nutritional value...I feed ground rabbit from hare-today, but I buy the rabbit pieces and grind...or you can buy the ground with bone and organs...but you still need to mix in a supplement if that is all you are feeding.

Stella and Chewy's Duck, Duck, Goose is very popular here as well as their Chicken...Weruva Paw Lickin' Chicken and Love Me Tender is also popular...

Well I have not been adding a supplement because she is not on a 100%
raw diet, She still gets her Evo kibble at night with the boys. Speaking of
Tetsu just hopped up here to help me type. He is not very helpful.
I'll let it go for a few weeks and then re-try the chicken. The silly part
is now you can't cool any beef with out Bella helping her self or at least lending a hand/paw.

Agreed, my cats can have fads in what they like to eat. And chicken is one of those they will be crazy about for a bit then go "off" it.

This is good to know. Seems like some SV's go on/off the chicken diet? Shango is now on this kick, well the I don't care for raw chicken kick. I think most of it is the mixed up raw taste, he just snubs his nose right now. So now I'm feeding him bits of raw beef pieces and he just loves these! I dip some in Wildtrax, at least on one end, and they go down great. He even growls at Amaury when eating the strips of meat, something I've never previously witnessed;) dj

Mine stopped liking raw chicken a while ago...they now love raw rabbit...seems like rabbit is the one food they do not tire of for some reason...

Zeddie used to love chicken, then one day she just stopped and I had to mix it in with turkey in order to finish off the package. Now she eats turkey, lamb, venison and quail

Thanks Paige and Kristin. That's more reassuring to me to hear then. I just wonder once a SV gets chicken picky, will they ever like chicken again?

I haven't tried raw chicken with Zeddie again because it was a pain to mix it when she wouldn't it eat, but weirdo loves the freeze dried chicken

I agree that they seem to go thought phase. Bella now will knock you
down for chicken and is snubbing the beef some times. Other times
it's the bowl it in. The boys are still kibble free. Bella gets a small
bowl every day or so.
We still are keeping with the split sleeping arrangements.
Bella wants outside to get at the wild rabbits and I would et her is
I know that she would not lost having all that fun.

The two things I know that she won't eat are canned food and rabbit
from the freezer. I am going to try turkey next.

They can... and some will be interested again. I feed mainly rabbit now because like Paige I find it is the universally popular meat with my ones... but occasionally I'll offer chicken and some of them act like it is the BEST for a bit then go back to wanting rabbit.
