Sneezing Savannah!

For what it's worth and I've mentioned this before, it could be something as simple as the cat litter. That stuff is dusty, can clog sinuses, and cause infections. And they keep coming back. I had a poor cat suffer for years before we discovered it. In my case, it was cheap kitty litter not made in the USA. Sneezing can be more than an infection. It can be histamine mediated, and that points to allergies.

Our Malia has been sick since the day we got her in November last year. Seeping eyes, sneezing, lots of snot, krusties on the sides of her nose etc... I wish I had the magic answer but we are still on the quest to find it. PCR panel negative for everything.

We did a 7 week course of Azithromycin, this is a antibiotic, but it also helps reduce the bio-film that bacteria make to help protect the organism. She is so much better now but she is still sick! We are going to a specialist next week . Fingers crossed!!!!!

Wow, Xtine, that is a shame! I hope the specialist figures it out...I hate not knowing why my kitty is sick :(

I'd almost bet on severe allergies to something. The description sounds like how I was and occasionally still am, and I get regular allergy shots. Those have helped me and might be something that can be done for your cat.

I agree that since Malia's respiratory PCR was negative, that allergies as a source for her symptoms is worth exploring. I also have terrible allergies...a lot like Malia's! You might want to consider your cleaning products: a lot of them can be irritating to pets as well as humans. Things like plug-in air fresheners, essential oils, fabric fresheners (Febreeze), laundry soap, fabric softeners, perfumes, cigarette smoke, pollen, the kitty litter you use, even her diet (chicken can be an allergen, as well as fish)....can all cause or contribute to allergies.

Let us know what the specialist finds out. Fingers crossed you soon get to the bottom of this!

Just realized we recently put a plug in air freshener near litter box. Throwing this away right now just in case.
