Southerners delight!!

OK, thanks for enlightening me on that one. It's what I have always referred to as wild garlic and now I won't be left scratching my head if someone from NC mentions them.

A few years ago, while hiking a small portion of the Appalachian Trail I had ran into some younger guys who were subjecting themselves to daily feedings of Ramen Noodles. I showed them what wild garlic, I mean ramps were, cut them up with whatever I was eating and they were in heaven having breathed some life into their noodle soup. I was definitely godlike for a few moments although I'm still baffled as to why anyone would think Ramen Noodles would be a good food for a week or longer hike.

Hey now...we are unique. East coasters are in a hurry to get nowhere and southerners have clogged arteries and talk funny:p

LOL I guess you could say that ;) i got teased for my accent when I first got here!
No offense, but I haven't found the PNW people to be very nice!! In Washington anyway. It's dog-eat-dog out here, and allot of "me" attitude. I used to be willing to do anything for anyone, but out here you just get taken advantage of...
Perhaps I'm a bit jaded of late, but I really don't like the attitudes I have found in Washington! :(

Ohhhhh...Washington....that explains it then. They're all a bunch of relocated east coasters who brought their bad attitudes with them mixed in with some disenfranchised Canadians. And let's not even start to talk about their driving. We Oregonians are nice, friendly, and love our home grown beer & wine. Even the free spirits of Portland are nicer than any Washingtonian you'll meet.

Never saw that, definitely funny! Glad we have a whole city devoted to it as opposed to just a borough or neighborhood like most cities above the Mason Dixon line.

LOL the video was hilarious :p but yes, the people in WA are terrible! However I know nothing about Portland but I have heard it's much better than here :)
OMG do not get me started on their driving!!!!! I do get a little road range at times... Their lack of concern for others is very apparent in their driving, and it makes me insane!! Grrrr.
