Enough blankets and they can't get through. But My girl does not bite. Just pounces and chases. No teeth no claws. She is very gentle with me.

Ahhh....but what if you are not using blankets or just a sheet? You are lucky your girl doesn't bite through; most cats cannot resist the temptation once they get going with the wiggly feet and toes under the blanket game......

Played bed mouse with my cats all my adult life. A few little hurts but nothing bad. Lucky, I guess...d

Such a cute kitty! But definitely not a behavior that a breeder should be teaching her kittens :( You may have to nip that nasty habit in the butt as soon as the kitty gets home to you Carl... little baby teeth turn into big adult teeth and that will not make for a pleasant playtime.

Ummm....no you don't. We teach our babies that feet and fingers and are not playthings by diverting their attention with a wand toy or other object.....they soon learn that biting and pouncing is a no-no :)
Totally agree Pam, this is NOT a behavior that should be encouraged in kittens!

That's because she's been taught not to bite, and I hope she continues to be a good little girl with you!

I figured that was the case. Thank you. Sometimes she play bites, but I try to discourage that. She has never drawn blood with a bite. She has accidentally with her claws, but usually because she has misjudged or lost her footing, and reached out to grab.

I have an F1 who started biting after she was a couple of years old. No idea why it started, it's just 'love bites' but coming from an F1 they can be downright dangerous. I'm having a hard time breaking her of it, but she is getting better. Always best to nip that behavior in the butt before it becomes habit.

I discourage it. She is pretty good about listening. Any "ow" outta my mouth and she freezes and gets real quiet. Then she licks the area she was messing with. " Kissy make better, daddy." She is really a sweethert. And Azidi is becoming one too.
