Stopped eating

Oh dear, I am praying for Zeddie that she pulls through like a trooper! Please keep us posted!!

3 X-rays later, it looks like the gas is slowly pushing through on its own, so she is coming home with some meds to coat her stomach and hopefully help push the gas through. She is coming in for more X-rays tomorrow to see if there is any change before we decide if she needs surgery. Thanks for all the support! Poor girl is not happy with all this

Your vet can prescribe some flagyl or Metronitozole which is great for intestinal sensitivity. I keep it on hand for any upset tummies. Make sure you have no plants that she has been munching one that could cause issues. Obstructions are accompanied by usually diarrhea and vomiting.

Maybe the raw beef did not sit well and caused the tummy upset.One the intestinal tract is upet food is last thing they want for a bit. Good that you are taking her to the vet;>)

So Zeddie ate a big dinner last night that she kept down, and had a big runny stinky poop last night that relieved the gas but she threw up her meds this morning and wouldn't eat, so back to the vet for another X-ray. The X-ray came back okay so no surgery. Her blood work will be in around 3 so hopefully we get something from that, otherwise we are back to square one. Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers
