Anyone have any tricks to keep dogs out of boxes? I know someone keeps them up high on a shelf. I keep some in the closet. I do have a few smaller ones here and there for the kittens that I don't know what to do about. They just get frequently raided.:uh oh:

Can you use a small sterilte type box, put the top on, cut out a round hole on the top and a little door on the side? I did that and it works great...and the cats don't feel like it is an entirely closed box because of the two entrances.

this is the same idea...the top has little ridges in it that catch a lot of litter before they get off the box:

yes, I have one of those...zuri uses it and that's it...so I made my own so there are two entrances/exits...and it was much cheaper ;)

Cool! Where is the 2nd entrance? and does the top catch the litter? How did you get the hole to not be sharp edges?

How does everyone keep the mats from being dragged into other rooms? Every time I try something to stop litter tracking, I find the mat in the kitchen, the bedroom....maybe I could try sticky velcro on the mat and the floors...hmmm.

I don't have that problem, Pam...but that is because I put the mat directly under the litterbox, so it c an grow legs :roflmao:

So I put a hole or door on the top and then a door on the front, which would be the a short side...the top kind of catches the litter but not as well as the clever cat...
