Thank you, Arline...I mean they are just goldfish but for some reason, I couldn't kill them :sneaky: But I am the same person who goes saltwater fishing and uses live bait...a bit of a dichotomy, I guess...

No you do not, Arline...for catching Fluke, most people use spearing (dead) and squid. But...I use snappers, which are small, live bluefish...they come into the jersey shore around May and by August are too large to use...the larger the bait, the larger the fish. Spearing and squid = small...Snappers = Larger and live...move around a lot - fluke love them.

Snappers take time and patience and you have to have an aerator and bucket to keep them alive - it is a lot of work. But when you are fishing and the pool is $300, it is worth it. or when you are fishing and want to bring home a big fish, it is worth it. if you are not competitive and don't care, it is too much work.

Maybe I am a bit competitive? Ya think - LOL!

LOL, Paige you are one multi faceted woman! And yup, just a tad competitive! Not that there's anything wrong with that. ;-)

I am just the have to learn everything type ;) with fishing, I was very frustrated when everyone on the boat was catching all these huge fish and I wasn't catching anything...the mates and captain took me under their wing and taught me how to fish and how to catch big fish...I actually went to the docks every day an hour or two before the boat left to catch live bait...and then all the guys I fished with were upset because I was out fishing them - LOL!!! They got over it though...I don't get to fish as much anymore but really love being on the ocean and fishing...it is just one of those things...

Well you Rock!!!

I used to be able to beat guys at golf......way back when! Now I'll just be happy to be able to golf again. Not sure it will happen with thumbs being bad, but hoping I'll still be able to. Time will tell.

Thanks Paige! Well I could never hit it more than 200 yards and the guys would always out drive me...but I was consistent and straight down the middle. :) Used to really tick the guys off. LOL It's been at least 5 years since I've golfed though so I'm hopeful. Hope I can still hit the dang ball. LOL
