Teeth Brushing

IMHO, saying eating dry kibble to clean teeth is almost as ridiculous as saying us eating corn flakes will keep our teeth clean. Plaque and tartar build up can be very much related to genetics. Some animals don't build much up, others are more prone to it.

CHEWING on things like bones does help because of the repetitive motion against something much harder than a piece of kibble. Feeding raw that contains bones usually helps keep teeth clean much better than feeding dry kibble... even if the kibble is a dental formula.

Nothing beats brushing the teeth though. I use an enzymatic tooth paste and all the fur kids love love love that stuff like it is crack for them haha.

I have a grooming video that I made a while back... I will post it in the video section. Take a look at it, I talk about nail trims, brushing, and teeth brushing!

Try freeze dried turkey necks. The long fibers actually floss their teeth.
