Tennis balls - Word of warning

I have used a baby onsey but the neck is very big.

A Fellaway diffuser can help. The vet recommended Nutricalm for anxiety and I use it whenever Rafiki has a hot spot. It does not make her doped up, it just calms her down a bit.

For those who have cats addicted to ball toys - golf balls. Loud if you have non-carpeted floors, but they are indestructible.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Loki!

Be careful though - golf balls are small enough for a larger cat to swallow and can cause an air obstruction!

Loki is home with a voracious appetite. I fed him a small portion and he is still so hungry. I'm going to wait to make sure it settles for him to have more. He seems back to his normal self, mostly. Such a relief.

Track suit and new cone ordered from Amazon, thank you all for your advice and suggestions. Very much appreciated.

Ps... don't let your cats eat tennis balls.

Loki loves his tennis balls and goes crazy for them! I've found a few chewed up ones that I've had to throw out not thinking much of it.

He is currently waking up from emergency surgery due to a complete blockage of his small intestine. The culprit - you guessed it, a piece of the tennis ball he bit off.

Please don't give your babies anything they chew up this. I've learned a very emotional and expensive mistake by giving my boy a toy he loves.

He is doing well and hopefully my baby will be home tomorrow. This is absolutely something that could of been avoided. Please think twice before bringing these into your home.

So sorry this happened! I am surprised we haven’t had the same problem with Masai. He went through a couple of the long tubular foam float things that we would cut into 6” pieces; before we realized he was eating them! I think I will check on the pet insurance too. NOT what you wanted for Christmas!

i dont think they mean to eat most of the stuff they do they just want to tare it apart and sometimes it gets stuck in their mouths and rather then spit it out its easier for them to swallow it
