The Atticus Diaries

He was a human boy in a previous life!
He's so smart he takes my breath away sometimes. I usually put the cats outside or shut them in a room when I'm preparing their meals because 2 of them will steal the food and eat it in places where they shouldn't. Today at dinner, I left Atticus out. He jumped on the sink and tried to grab his chicken. I told him no and that he had to wait. He sat down and waited. I couldn't believe it. The only time he doesn't listen to "no" is when it comes to water -- if he wants in the sink to play or wants to splash the water out of the water dishes, there's no stopping him. Everything else, he listens and does what I want him to do. Spooky, really really spooky.

I want to see the video of Atticus peeling the banana! ;) I too liked how he rearranged the rest of the fruit in the bowl.

I wish I would have investigated the little noises coming from the kitchen sooner, then I would have caught him in the act of peeling. I suspect it was more shred, shake & rip but it worked for him.

Sorry Atticus, the North American spotted moose is not known for its skills in painting and remodeling. Mama should allow you to assist in any and all demolition activities however as your abilities in that arena have been proven.

You need to tell momma that you could be quite a creative painter and that you should be offered a chance to show off your artistic skills.
