Use lasers if you have to, ultrasonic room measures, drive him by a truck stop and weigh the car with and without Atticus. We demand stats! It's 11:57pm and we were promised Atticustats /on/ /his/ /birthday/!!! Which ends in now two minutes!

The only accurate stat I have is his weight which is 22 lbs 6 oz. as of this morning. Thankfully, I trained him to get on the scale when he was a babe and he thinks it's fun.

He has been a total brat about allowing me to measure height and length. I tried for 3 days and gave up. He keeps trying to play with the measuring tape and I keep losing the wrestling match. I think it's become a 2-person task so I'll try to get it done in a day or two.

Each night while I'm reading in bed Atticus brings me a gift. Here's this week's accumulation:
He opened the tool drawer in the kitchen to get the hammer and flashlight. Strainer basket from kitchen sink, sock from laundry bag, Listerine bottle was on kitchen counter ready to go in recycle bin. Last night's highlight was the margarita mix which he stole from under my husband's nose as the poor ape was trying to make a drink. We were very relieved that he hadn't opened the cap yet.
