Come on Witchy... Atticus is a little boy. Boys like machines. It is only natural for him ( and maybe Maliik too ) to disassemble things to see how they work. I cannot fault him for that. I did that. I am not sure how many times I disassembled my litter box to see how it worked when I was a kitten. And the TV set and the Radio and ......
I am not entirely sure that you want your eyes to focus on.

With my police experience, I would say it WAS Atticus. Once a Savandal, always a Savandal. Just like a burglar, there is NO rehabilitation. BUT, as I say it should be ignored and forgiven. It is a natural "boy thing" to figure out how machines work. He is guilty, but circumstances are extenuating.
All of you who doubt Atticus was the perpetrator are welcome to come spend a week at my house.
