Dino is such an incredible sweetheart, he has melted my heart and I could have easily taken all of them home with me. I'd make the worst breeder ever and certainly end up being a crazy cat hoarder.

Not sure if Atticus does this but when Dino eats his whole body rumbles with purrs and chirps while marching on all fours. He really gulps his food and gets so frenzied that he just wants to charge you with bone rattling headbutts. Hard to keep him focused on eating, but when he is he displays a pretty voracious appetite.

You definitely have a winner there... I too would be a Breeder Hoarder as I could never let one leave.. but thanks to the people that do, we non breeders can have VERY nice Kitties.... Thanks to all the breeders out there, most are doing a great job...

That is the greatest way to put it John. My kittens do have voracious appetites it seems and they do march on all fours, come to think of it, walking in circles around their plates. Not sure why but you nailed it!

Whomever gives him his food is greeted by a high decibel eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and ankle rubs & head butts then he dashes to where we put his plate and gets right down to business. Licks the plate clean every time. He's gained 6 ounces in 5 days:eek:

I may have an answer for that Sue... My guess is that when you start the kittens eating non-mom's food that they are all eating and sharing food. This creates competition in the groups that they tend to show when there is no competition. An Example of Jake and Elsa, they have never wanted for food and it is always available to them 24X7. When they are hungry, they eat, when they are not, they do not. Elsa keeps her breakfast wet food snacking on it through the day and Night Wet food through the night. She eats it all... Just not at once. For Jake's breakfast is the same thing, except now, I have the problem of Elsa being a Clepto with Jake's Food and now I have to keep a close eye on it til he finishes it and put it up when he is not eating.

Jake was in a Litter of 2, and Elsa was a Litter of 1.
