Amazing pictures and videos of the introductions so far, looks like it didn't go too poorly!
I am so relieved at the progress made in 2 days. I knew in my gut before Atticus came home that he would be Maliik's buddy. Maliik was the odd one out because Juba & Taji grew up together and are so bonded. Although they play and sleep with him and groom him, he knows he's the 3rd wheel. Atticus is just what we needed for a balanced foursome.

You had it all planned out. No surprise there :p. Glad It's working out.

Too cute.....I am at a loss for words!

I am getting such a kick out of what he is doing to the big cats. He wore both of them out by 11 a.m. today. Juba and Maliik kept putting themselves in time-out in the dog crate and Atticus would sit outside and wait for them to recoup their energy. And Atticus has kitten torture down pat. Runs up behind the big guys and slaps their butts to get them to chase him then he hides under something where they can't reach. Or, he'll sit at the top of the cat tree and bop on the head whomever is lower down and then he lays flat so they can't see him. He's driving them crazy and I love it. Juba and Maliik need the exercise even if they don't appreciate it.

I did work pretty hard at getting them acclimated before the face-to-face. It wasn't fun switching everyone between rooms and moving litter boxes for the past 2 weeks but it had to be done to ensure a peaceful transition. I'm a bit worn thin and happy that I now have 3 other cats to help me babysit.

I appreciate your support throughout this endeavor. You know it wasn't an easy decision for me. It's never easy taking a chance on what will happen when another cat is added to the mix and trying to balance personal desire against the best interest of my 3 boys was tough. But…it's working out and that's all that matters.

Witchy, I am sure glad they are working it out so well... But you already have trained Atticus to be such a well train office assistant on your desk... When he wants to spend time with his new buddies, how are you going to handle all the work without his help...

Ah, any time! And yes, I know it was a difficult decision, but I think it will all work out for the best! You made the right decision!

It's great to hear and see how well the introductions are progressing. Sounds like Atticus has the others wrapped around his paw! Glad to hear that he and Malik are getting along so well - I love it when things fall into place like this!
