Going kamikaze on a helicopter! He almost had that plane leveled out... Needed a few more feet of altitude!

With that much wing gone, he never had a chance. If it had been the other wing, maybe, but due to the torque that is what rolled it over... The other side, he could have used torque to get it level and then try to get it in the field.. Would have still been hard to impossible to recover from that... Been flying RC for a number of years now.

I guess Atticus decided your clean dishes needed a little extra spritzing up, eh?
Seriously though, that marble countertop is really slippery - he needs some traction boots when he's up there!!!

My experience with RC flying was first to ignore the advice to get an instructor, then take off and fly rather well several circuits, and come in for a landing and the plane totally disappears! After a few seconds of confusion I realized I had been concentrating on the plane so hard that I lost all sense of distance--it was like I had zoom lenses. The plane hit the trees almost three times as far away as I thought it was.

Find tall ladder, rebuild. Try to fly along the wall of a warehouse, crash. Wash, repeat!

LOL... easy to do... Definetly get an instructor. stay in the pattern until you can do 2 things very well... One is to fly straight down the runway without going off the sides, and 2, be able to touch down in once piece (if you do not have the recommended instructor). Once you can do that... Then be sure to keep up with which way the plane is going.. .It is very easy to lose prospective and think the plane is flying to you when it is really flying away from you... I have 2 planes that I fly at night, and that really gets fun.... And yes, both of have landing lights :)

My kitchen counters are now covered in bath mats. The things we do for our cats….

Why would you do such a thing, when he was having so much fun playing Bumm Slide across the counters... We need to protest this action...

You need to remember that we are servants, that means we do what we are told, and I am sure that Atticus did not tell you to put them there...

Jeez... Someone has to stand up for the little guy!

Denying him the bum slide also mean's I'm protecting him from hurting himself because he's still too dumb to know when he's in danger. He could easily break a leg, tear a tendon, dislocate a hip or knee on wet slippery granite and that's more important.

Then maybe you could compensate him by making him a slippy slide acoss the kitchen floor...:rolleyes:, I mean really, Human kids go out an buy slippy slides and never heard of one of them getting hurt.... Think of poor ole Atticus being denied one of his favorite sports...
