Fingers and paws crossed over here that all goes well at the vet's! I'm guessing he'll come home none the worse for wear and not even realize anything has happened to him, except an interesting little field trip ;)

I don't let him read your posts JC for fear he will adopt some of your suggested bad behavior. He is at the vet's now and I'll be a worry wart until he's back home.

Believe me.. I know the feeling... Anytime I have to leave a pet at the VET I get very worried.... But I shouldn't have to tell you all that... :)

But you should let him read his own mail and sensor the poor little fellow...

I am the same way John, I hate leaving animals at the vet, and I'm sure I drive them batty checking in all the time, not to mention visiting if they are there for more than the day... it's not just for me, it's for the animal as well - I'm sure being alone at the vet's is a scary experience, and having a friendly, familiar person visit can help ease their stress.

For Elsa, she spent so much time of her early life there, she knows every one of them, and they like her... In a way that helps... She is comfortable at the VET. She will even get out of the carrier (if no dogs are around) and visit with the front office staff... The Vet knowing how concerned I am when she is there will call me with updates. When she came out of surgery they called me and when she awoke they called me... They are the best.

Man Atticus You are a freaking big boy. I shudder to think how big you will be when You grow up.
