A MacBook is the only laptop I want. I've been using Unix systems since the late '70s and Apple gives me a fully supported device that does everything I need.

The fact that pipes don't exist as such in Windows is such a basic flaw that I'm still amazed that ms-dos didn't die on the vine and somehow managed to give birth to this thing called Windows that still to this day carries so many limitations in it's core...

I used to roll my own Linux system on an IBM ThinkPad, but when Apple announced an Intel-based laptop in the 17" size I've never looked back.

After my cats (and my wife!), don't touch my Mac! I suspect I feel as passionate about it as John does about his guns. The difference is I use my Mac every day...

Chris. I went from working on Windows systems and being a network admin to switching to a Mac...I now have an iMac and MacPro...huge tower and 30" cinema display...I boot into Windows when I have to... But no more windows for me

Today I weighs 14 lbs 10 oz and am almost as big as Maliik. He is 5 yrs old and I iz gonna be 6 mos. old in 5 days.

I has big cuddles wif momma every day and today I stayed in her lap for hours and she rubs my chin and pets me and tells me how sweat I iz and I purrs and purrs and momma sez she didn't get nufing done today cauz she had to sits so I could nap in her lap. Poor momma.

14 lb 10 oz...At 6 Months? Boy you are one big Savannah kitten. My 17 month old Kilifi is 9 lb 8 oz today and I am all happy she is that big. And Azidi is even smaller ...
But you are looking good Atticus.
