But then instead of meowing on your bed, they are meowing outside your door!

I got lucky with Zeddie, she is very well behaved at night...she doesn't even wake up when my mom wakes up now! Tiger on the other hand....he would be exactly like this
I can't have cat dust or cat fur in my bed too because of allergies. The allergy doctor said no carpet in my house and no kitties in the bedroom... and it works...the meowing doesn't bother me either or should I say howling!:big grin:

Hah! Yeah howling it is...although I think Zeddie thinks it's a vacation when she isn't locked in my room. I don't trust her not to get into everything while I'm sleeping. Sometimes I will leave her out if I am watching TV in my room but the second my mom goes to bed I hear her knocking things off the counter to eat...little bugger. But she is a complete angel in my bedroom:in love:

We don't allow pets in our bedroom either. We are lucky none of the cats meow anymore wanting in. We do on occasion have a paw under the door making it wiggle but husband sleeps through anything and I just ignore it till they get bored and walk away. :)

Sylvester had a guaranteed way to wake me up... He would get up on top of the Head Board of the bed and jump down on top of my stomach with all 4 paws while I would be in a solid sleep. That was one Guaranteed way to get me to wake up in a fraction of a second and worked every time and he would be gone before I knew what happened.

I foolishly tried to sleep in past 7 on Sunday. First Rafiki tried to get my attention via several well executed serval pounces. I cracked open an eyelid and saw a deranged little face with a mouthful of blanket staring back at me. The next thing I knew, she ran off the foot of the bed.....dragging the blanket and sheet with her. Alright already! I am awake!

It sounds like you may have just gotten schooled on the penalties of over sleeping... Maybe you could rent her out to some school students that are hard to get up... :)

Sylvester used to use what I termed a Super Pounce... While I would be in an absolute dead sleep he would get up on the head board, and all 4 paws together on my stomach, and before I would realize what happened, he would be gone... That is a real eye opener... I am sure it is worse and probably more well planned with a Savannah however...

It sure seems that she has you trained well.
