I was so relieved when he came back to me from the back alley, he is F5C.
I was lucky I found out early for the door and no other cat escaped.

Ours come right back too. I think a lot of their "escapes" are just their desire to be in the area their humans occupy, at least as far as our cats go... Our backyard is completely fenced in with 6' high fences which works for the kittens, but not so much for the adults... King's easily cleared it before... I doubt he'd do it again though, considering he was on his leash at the time and his grandiose decent into freedom halted abruptly a foot and a half shy of the ground...
Same here. When Duma has gotten out, he basically sits next to the front door smelling stuff. Not tough to catch lol He gets free run of the back yard/garden that has 8' fence but while Dante (ragdoll) can get out easily, Duma has yet to even try. He just wants to be where I am, luckily we live on an island in a safe neighborhood but I really don't want to encourage either of them to escape or roam.
