Great idea about the string or yarn. I was gonna attach a few small toys to an elastic under the coffee table for them to find and lay on their back and play with. I'll just hang some string or yarn with a really big knot at the end. Keep em busy for a while from time to time.

Very true, elastic or cord or yarn can potentially be ingested...you really need to supervise them any time they are around such things.

I'm doing something very similar whey Amaury (F1 male) arrives this week - cage setup. Want to isolate him from Shango (F2 male) so he bonds to me and not Shango initially. I did the same to Shango just as a safe place, and he was fine with the cage. In reality by about day3 or day4, Shango wanted out and was over his initial fear of my home.
