Yeah, I hear you. We had to wait three years for our second SV. As our other cats got older and passed on, we have replaced with SV's. I'm now at our limit. I don't know how the rest of you folks with more have not gone insane.

Gosh, I think we all know that feeling all too well. Once we put our deposit down for Kovu the days just seemed to drag. Then the day he was FINALLY to get here seemed like the longest day in history. I thought I'd need a Xanax the day he flew in (12 hour flight!) because I was so anxious about how the flight would go, how he'd react to us, how he'd do with Elijah, ect. Then he got here & all was perfect. <3

We can all relate, I think. When my Savannah flew in to DC (6 hours away) we arrived at the airport 6 hours early! LOL. I was so afraid we'd have road construction, traffic, get list, not find the cargo terminal. We find't even stop to eat! Then, we st in the parking lit outside the cargo terminal and waited.
PS. It was worth it!
We got to the airport 2 hours early, which is a good thing we did! Because apparently we weren't able to pick him up at the airport, but had to go to some Delta place a couple miles away. We had NO idea where that was at! Luckily we got good directions & still managed to get there before Kovu did. :) I still remember we told Elijah (4 years at the time) that we were getting special coffee. He was so surprised when Kovu came out!

That is where I'm at now with my Whiskey. Right now, though, it just seems as if I'm living life in slow motion and I find myself thinking about her during the day...what is she doing? I've just put my deposit down on her and now, I'm thinking about her quarantine room, what my emotions are going to be on that day and how she'll be with me and how her plane ride will be. It's as if I'm almost tempted to buy a balloon to put on her carrier that says "It's a girl" on it.
