The waiting is the hardest part !

That is where I'm at now with my Whiskey. Right now, though, it just seems as if I'm living life in slow motion and I find myself thinking about her during the day...what is she doing? I've just put my deposit down on her and now, I'm thinking about her quarantine room, what my emotions are going to be on that day and how she'll be with me and how her plane ride will be. It's as if I'm almost tempted to buy a balloon to put on her carrier that says "It's a girl" on it.

The balloon idea is TOO cute Mischief! When is your beautiful young lady arriving?
;)

I'm sitting on pins and needles. Couldn't sleep last night either...5 in the morning before I hit the hay. Is it Groundhog Day? Just got to make it 2 more days. I'll probably be too tired to introduce myself once Triton even gets here...:sleepy:

Not sure yet. She has to get spayed first (I will be on pins and needles thinking about her on that day) but I have been looking for that balloon. And then I was thiinking of sending a pink receiving blanket down to Lori to put in her carrier for her trip up but one of my co workers reminded me that she's not a kitten.

I'll see if I can't fashion her carrier with a pink crate pad... seeing as we make them, a custom color for Whiskey would be my pleasure! :)

Thank you. The people at the airport are going to think I'm nuts with that balloon but then again since it's Newark, maybe not. She has a pink food and water bowl already waiting for her because she looks like a girly kitty.

You will make it. The adrenaline is what you'll feed on and if you're like me, you'll want to make a good first impression on him like I will when I first see my Whiskey.

Hey, she may not be a kitten but she's still your baby and she is a young girl...

I never thought of it that way. But she definitely is my baby (and she will be very spoiled too) And she gets spayed Feb. 22nd. I don't know how long after that she'll be able to fly but because of the way our billing cycles at work are, that is one of the busiest days of the month so hopefully, I won't worry too much about her when she gets spayed.

We're almost in the home stretch....just one more day, and my sweet Triton will be home to stay!!!! My 10 year old is sooo excited! CC called this morning and said that he and Triton are already buddies. I didn't doubt that they would be...CC has such a way with animals. Arden has one cat (not a Savannah) who doesn't like men at all. It took 2 years before the cat would let Arden's husband come near it. When my husband saw her, he put his hand out toward her. The cat walked right over to him and sniffed his hand. Arden and her husband were amazed. That's my hubby...the St. Francis of the feline world! :) Hang in there, Mischief! Whiskey will be here before you know it!

Thank you. She gets spayed on Friday the 22nd and I will be a basket case of nerves thinking about her that day wondering if she's ok or not. But then last night when I was trying to sleep, I thought of myself going to the airport to get her and I know it's going to be a great day.
