Things I've Learned From Owning a Savannah(s)

HOW MAKE COFFEE USING A FRENCH PRESS
Put water in measuring cup to heat;
Open microwave to heat water;
Pull SV out of microwave;
Remove SV paw from water and change water;
Open microwave to heat water;
Remove SV from microwave;
Put coffee grounds in French press;
Remove SV head stuck in French press;
Pour hot water over grounds;
Pull SV from microwave;
Put cream in cup to heat;
Remove SV head from coffee cup and wipe up spilled cream;
Repeat with cream, heat in microwave;
Pull SV from microwave;
Pour coffee into cup using other arm to fend off SV;
Run from kitchen and lock self in office to enjoy coffee in solitude;
Insert ear plugs to lessen din from screeching cat.

thanks you for sharing your coffee moment with us, it made me laugh out loud.
the problem i have with my 2, is going to the toilet in the night, trying to pee with 1 cat climbing my leg for a closer look, and the other with its head halfway in the toilet, its a laugh a minute.....

My newest thrill is Crazy's fascination with my straws! Recently got invisiligns and need to use a straw with my liquids.. He will sit there staring and turning his head sideways trying to figure out how to steal my straw. Needless to say, I must carry my coffee (or ...) with me everywhere.. blowing in his face does not deter him for long..

Be careful with those straws...I was bringing some home with me (which Nitro loved) but unfortunately he'd put it too far down his throat and I'd hear a gagging noise...

Anything round and crinkly is automatically their toy regardless of size! Whether its the fresh mushrooms that we're just painstakingly peeled, the gallon size ziplock bags, a new heated blanket, the light switches and door knobs or a string from the carpet they just ripped up... It's all to play with and gnaw on!!!

Svs like to bury/cover their poop or food with your underwear every now and then, or just carry it round the house a lot

socks are a favorite

close second seems to be boxer shorts or bras - don't know why, thats just the way it is ;-) Ive learned to live with it

I am not sure if all Savannahs have this issue, but our two have the worst sense of edges!! From table tops, counter tops, sofa tops etc...if they decide to do the roll and strech move and they are near an edge...then off the go...down..down..down... it is the strangest thing!!

Lol my SV is very clumsy! He is forever running into things, especially if he is excited and playing.

my 2 do the same, cheech is always falling from the sofa, i thought he was like his namesake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anna walks round the sink, stalking, then she slips grabbing tea towel on way down, taking all drying washing up stacked on tea towel with her.... don't you just love em?

Ha!! my Katniss loves to redcorate and everyday I have to go to bathroom and put towels back on rack and in the kitchen put tea towels back on stove handle!! And now it's the Christmas stockings too !!
