That's a neat ornament, where did they have it made?
So what to the kitties think of the cat wheel? Have they tried it out yet?

No its a ornament you put a picture in, then a photo was shrunk down to the size of the frame and printed, you open the back out, and put the picture in :D

They like to sit on it, the foam pads I guess are comfy, but then the other one will come and jump onto the wheel part hoping to cuddle up and the wheel turns and they both jump off and go crazy haha.

You need to use a wand toy to get them to start walking on it - once they get the feel of it they will start running like the wind!

Jessie isn't feeling good today, going to try and get her to the vet on Friday! Noticed one eye is squinting a bit. And noticed the protective area on the left eye is out a bit more.

Not enough to wake up from her nap to clean muffin :)

We're at the vet now, of course she puts up a fight trying to take blood so they need to sedate her. She's such a rambunctious kitten. Muffins always so easy back there haha.

So far what I know, the eye is definitely cloudy but isn't bothering her to open anymore. There was a small amount of blood when taking her temp but only had bacteria. Her temp was slightly over normal but only slightly. So we're not sure 100% yet what the issue is.

Turns out Jessie has a lot of crystals in her urine so they are going to take her back tomorrow and give her some fluids under the skin. Also apparently need to change their food for a bit. It sucks I have water bowls everywhere in the house, and a fresh water filter fountain running all day by the stairs. And she still is choosing not to drink enough :(

So sorry to hear this. Cats tend to get their fluid intake from their water, which is why most folk discourage a 100% dry diet. Try giving her canned and add water to it to increase her moisture. I believe there are also special diets available to help deal with crystals.

Hope the eye clears up without issue, did the vet give you antibiotics for it?

Eye looks a lot better today, so shes going to be eating Royal Canin Adult Vet Edition with special EEG or EKG or something index that will dissolve the crystals and the matching wet food. I also got some meds because theres a little blood near the inside end of her intestine, not enough to change color of poop but enough that they see it when taking her temp. So its once a day.

Hopefully my kittens can be healthy for a month now moving forward :D
