Are you trying to clog poor Mayhem's arteries? :roflmao:
No. He gets 2 small bites of the burger and 1 inch of a fry. This is maybe once every couple of months, but he sure knows the look of the bag! (and I'll get a pawful of claws if I don't cough up!)

I think if worried, a checkup at the vet is not a bad idea...and worming too.

If she's not finishing her meal and looking at you hopefully, then I doubt she is still hungry. Even if she hated the food, she'd likely then let you know she was hungry and just try to bury that food while meowing for more food... they usually do make it clear to us when the issue is they don't like that meal.

Trish, My F3's are following the same pattern. Up and long first, then at 2 years they started filling out. Rascal filled out nicely, Mayhem is just starting. He needs it, he is so skinny.
Becky, No one is starving around here. There is always kibble about, and yes, they all snack on it when the get the urge, but they don't over eat.
It's how the giant dog breeds grow- and I've always heard it quoted then I realized it's the same with the F1s and F2s (I don't own any F3s, so don't know). It does make sense though- they are using a lot of calories towards ONE direction at time. LOL.

This makes a lot of sense. How about it other F3 owners?

Thanks, everyone. Tomorrow is food buying day, so I will get some different raw to see if she likes something better. I did increase her raw today, and she ate all of it. I am still going to take her to the vet Monday.

Update: Nyah is just fine, healthy little critter. Our vet thinks she is going through a growth spurt, like a lanky teenager. She agreed a few extra calories wouldn't hurt, but not to panic if she starts to eat less of her dry food because we upped the raw. She is eating all of her increased portion of raw. Her dry is natures variety instinct with raw boost. I got her the duck version and the little stinker picked out all of the freeze dried bits and left the kibble.
