Back in the day when I had all my cords back gated off my serval girl could not get to them. We went to the store, came back and she had successful got behind the baby gate and peed directly into the mulitie plug in (Totally on purpose I swear). Rooms where full of smoke and just as I went to grab her away from the plug in it sparked. Ewwwww the carpet and multiple other things where grossly destroyed. Amazing part is I had three workers at my house and none of them noticed the smoke coming out the window!

Okay, let's just say...

One day on the pets' list, I posted that my Savannahs were plotting something. I had walked by my daughter's room (this was when Simon and Ava were still very young and I think JillyBean was home by then too- so three F1s) and they were all on the bed, like they were plotting a wicked, wicked plan.

That day- the bunny was alive and hopping. This bunny was a very big, very feisty bunny. She didn't tend to put up with crap and her cage was (what we thought) pretty secure.

The next morning- to put it very nicely- the bunny was no longer amongst the living.

I am sure they planned it out in detail!

I had a ring neck parakeet for a while. He was rather a rescue because no one wanted him and they called him "bad-bird" at the pet store. It was his second home. I worked with bad bird until he loved me but he was still a nasty biter when it came to cat flesh. Eventually, I rehomed him as the cat flesh was getting more and more cunning to bad-bird's ways. Bad bird would not bite at night when he could not see. Even with a cage twice his size, they would torment him at night. It was just a matter of time!

I think if a kitten is raised with a "pocket pet" they can learn to get along! Look at Keljin for example, (brehearts kitten), he loves his ferret sister, Winry! I took these photos the other day so figured I could post since it is a relevant topic hehe.

A ferret will fight back though... bunny, not so much. That makes a difference I am sure.
