Treasure Trove

That's hilarious Deborah! I had a chausie that would hide toys, but none of the savannahs do. They just leave them lying all over the house for me to trip over.

That's a good point, maybe I'm lucky Zeus hides his toys and what not !! ;)

Speaking of treasure troves, my son (Josh) is cleaning his room today and getting rid of all toys, that are too young for him, broken, or have lost parts. Not Josh's favorite thing to do, but Zeus is helping. My son doesn't see it as help, but Zeus does ... I mean, who else is going to carry off toys that you already put in the donation box. Or who else is going to make sure the garbage bag doesn't get out of line by attacking it. And of course there is garbage control ... someone has to make sure stuff that is put in the garbage bag truely is garbage. Oh, and if your not moving fast enough, Zeus helps provide motivation by attacking your feet ... IMO ... Zeus' efforts are invaluable ROFL ;)

Oh, Zeus is such a helpful kitten! I am sure Abu will enjoy helping Zeus's efforts out!

Keljin has a very large treasure trove, in fact its an entire room! The master bath where he was quarantined as a baby is now "his" room. Whenever something goes missing, we find it in that bathroom behind his litter box or behind the toilet. He pretty much takes anything that can fit in his mouth - I think he learned his scavenging and hiding skills from the ferret (her hiding place for treasure is under the couch and futon). They both love doing this so I have learned to be careful with small objects! It's funny when I catch him in the act because he is trotting around the house so happily with whatever object in his mouth.

Keljin + Winry's Treasure List:
-My keys
-Candles
-Paper and plastic scraps
-Shoes and Sandals
-My glasses
-Phone charger
-Tweezers
-Chapstick
-Pens and Pencils
-Anything else that I haven't discovered yet!

I need to add to the list my furr hat, if I forget to put it a secure place, I have to look in every room sometimes before finding it.
