I definitely need to study up on the clicker training. Our problem child, not Chongo, really had some behavioral issues addressed with the use of puzzle feeders. He was destined to be daily medicated as a result of inappropriate urination that we just couldn't get resolved. He's definitely much more confident, active and no longer shows any signs of depression. The spraying stuff is all gone and while I'm sure the puzzle feeder isn't the only part of the solution, it was the one thing that really changed his persona.
It's amazing what you can do with clicker training. I have used it to train horses, a scarlet macaw, dogs and cats. I highly encourage you to learn it--it is well worth your time.

John, the wheel in the video you posted is made by a Taiwanese company, called Catswall...I wonder if I can get my friends from Taiwan to bring one or ship one to me...they are not yet available for distribution in the US...maybe we can change that!

That would be great! I really like that without the solid back that there is a ton more you can do with room placement. Also a lot less stress placed on the bearings as the load is distributed over several and you don't have same amount of leverage being applied. Without the back it is also capable of running a lot quieter, even mores than what is illustrated in the video.

Anyway, if this is something you are thinking of putting wheels on (pun intended) let me know!

Freeze dried chicken treats...either halo or whole life...i guarantee she won't walk away ;)

It's the most universal cat treat I know of... all breeds of cats seem to love the freeze-dried chicken treats. BUT, so saying that, I have a couple here that are totally disinterested in them, as they are in any treat I have tried... just not interested at all. It is a shame, as especially for Baz (my big black boy) I was interested in trying clicker training him as he really wants a lot of my attention and I thought it would help him that way.

Sign me up and if it gets difficult to make it happen, I have some other thoughts as well.

Thanks for doing the legwork Paige!
