vomiting after dry food but not wet?

Lol! Good point. I'm changing my kitchen trash can to a 5 gallon orange Home Depot bucket with a rock on top of it ... not the prettiest, but hopefully it will keep him out of there and give me some peace of mind while he's still in the "put everything in his mouth" stage.

Try putting sticky paws around the trash can, maybe that will make him avoid it. We switched all our trash cans, even the recycle one to the steel one, you know the ones you need to step on for it to open. Otherwise we always had naughty Sasha hiding in it, his favorite game was hide and seek.

And I'm so glad that the vet found out what's wrong, hopefully he'll have a quick recovery.

Happy for you & Cyro! He was only missing 1 "step" of the blockage path, that's why I went with the "are you sure it's a bone"...lost a Persian to a flat plastic eyeball off a kids toy...& (like Trish) the vet said "Nope, can't be that"., necropsy found the toy piece & then we demanded all $s paid to the first vet...very very glad you have your vet & your fur baby!

Curious as to how the little guy is doing. And you...
He seems to be healing well ... I've been feeding him more portions of his wet food, but watering them down a little so he can't eat too quickly and trigger his gag reflex (he lost a lot of weight while he was sick, and is trying to get it back)

Good!!! Glad he is doing so much better. I was also concerned about you, Alex. I know how you care for him. But now all is better. :)

Awww! Thanks Carykd7kau! Cyro and I are definitely best friends, and I'm really relieved the worst seems to be behind us :)
