i get dehydrated treats. I used the rx kibble and raw for a little while, but have taken the kibble out. he prefers raw over all now!

I know they love the dehydrated chicken and fish cubes, but please, please be sure to get them soaked with water if you are going to give them. Right now, this boy needs an increased water volume in his diet. Dehydrated treats or dehydrated food types are not going to help him accomplish that.

Yes, Yes! I agree Lori! I was just simple thinking treat only, not main food!!! I get the stella and chewy duck treats.

Last Friday Casey our F2B was acting very strange , he was friendly and wanted attention but he would hiss ,growl and snarl at us and our other cats but he was not aggressive , Casey was in and outside all day long and was eating and drinking and used his litter box's , I talked to Casey's breeder and she thought in may be a new smell in the house as in a new brand of litter, laundry soap or even rearranged furniture but nothing had changed. Saturday Casey was still upset and I called his breeder and we decided Casey should see a Vet, I am lucky to have a friend who is a Vet and she said bring Casey in now and I will fit him in , at the clinic Casey was not happy during the exam and afterward our friend say's I am not looking foreword to this, it's his anal gland, Casey got very aggressive and would not let the Vet and tech work on him and he had to be sedated, while Casey was under he got a full exam and his ears cleaned ,Vet gave Casey a antidote to wake up and put him back in his carrier, Casey was awake by the time we got home and was 100 % better and Sunday he was back to his normal spoiled self, our friend and Vet let me off very easy, $85. and you owe me one, I saw her at the gas station Monday and she asked about Casey. The first 2 pictures in my post #34 may be a little deceiving, Poor Casey and his sore butt and poor Connie our Vet and Amber who tried to fix Casey without sedation, note the stethoscope in the first 2 pic's is the same one on the floor in the upper left of the last pic, Connie said, Casey hissed so hard in my face he blew my hair back , they sedated Casey after a few tries and fixed his problem, this is the same Vet who comes over once a month in the warm months to give our outdoor {enclosure} Savannah cats a look over and flea med.s , we have to give our Veterinarian's credit also for helping our pets.

His airplane ears in the first 2 pix are extreme enough that his ears virtually disappear. He was obviously NOT a happy camper! Glad his little butt is feeling better! Hopefully Casey will forget about all of this by the time he needs his flea meds.

Actually Casey and Cody do very well when the Vet or her Vet techs visit their enclosure with flea meds and to look them over once a month in the warmer months, the Vet visits inside the cats enclosure seem to be very stress free for the cats and they appear to enjoy the visits and attention on their ground and their terms but at the clinic things are different even friendly visits the boy's are stressed, Cody has improved but Casey has not really come to like his Vet even though she tries with treats and tuna and pets, I think some time will settle Casey down as it did with Cody, as I said before, the Savannah cat breed is the Corvette of the cat breed,as I know them both well.
