Looks beautiful to me!

Welcome Alexandria! We where looking at this guys brother, what a little cutie he is! From looking at SO many pictures after we decided we wanted a SV in the house (Maybe to own the house is more like it) we noticed the various SV's looking very different in coloring depending on the photo, maybe lighting or what not. We've seen his pictures out on the breeder's site, what a ham!! :)

So glad to see you here and cannot wait to see his progress and how he grows. We kind of have an grown a little attachment to him... he's just so darn cute!

He is so cute! I feel so lucky to have him coming home with me. And just can't wait! Thanks guys.

Lovely cat. Looks almost like a snow to me, but then with my two snows I might just be suffering snow blindness. :)

Congrats on the new kitten.

I thought that for a bit, too. But I think he's very darkly spotted for a snow. Ah well. They are so beautiful, though! And you have two? Wow!

Welcome Alexandria! have you asked the breeder what color he is?

That is a very good idea :p
I just feel like I've been bombarding this nice lady with questions, and that this one maybe I could just wait and check his papers. But maybe I can't after all...

No, she won't mind and you should know the color of your kitten before getting ;)

Brigitte suggested that, too! Now I'm not exactly sure what would look like, but I can guess and I'll bet he's going to grow into a beautiful boy :)

Basically like a silver spotted tabby but a little "warmer" toned as it isn't the "black" gene but the "chocolate" gene used to make the pattern of the spotted tabby...

chipandripple.jpg We see chocolate silver fairly often in the show ring in the Ocicat breed for example, so I found a pic online to demonstrate...

He is just adorable and gorgeous...lucky you!

After checking out his pics on Connie's website, I think he is a tarnished silver....not chocolate silver. "Tarnished" meaning he has some brown/tan coming out in his silver coat.

By his description he sounds like a sweetheart :)

Hmm. Neat! Haha I don't know a ton about this sort of thing, but I enjoy learning about it. Especially when it's about my baby!
