What Makes Your SV Purr?

Schrodinger is what I call "pre-purr". You can look at him and he starts purring. But he has the deepest purrs are at night when he jumps up in the bed for snuggles. He jumps up here walks the perimeter of the bed then snuggles up next to me and I love on him until he decides he's ready to go lay on his pillow (which is on the other side of my king bed) and he lays there watching me until one of us falls asleep. He also purrs while eating and playing.

I love kitties who 'purr on site' - my Kimi, who just turned 1yr old on the 4th of July still purrs whenever I look at her. I thought she would grow out of it, but she never has :in love:

I have a boy who purrs when he's trying to "talk" mrpe into something....like going into the enclosure, or getting out the fur toy, etc. when get gets his way, no purrs at all. Little psychologist.

Kovu purrs on site. Nyah purrs when you pet her, but when she really gets into it she squeaks. She does that when she is getting brushed. I love it! I know when the squeaking starts, she is the happiest kitty in the world.

My Biz is odd one out - he purrs the second food is involved. I'll open a cupboard (any cupboard) and he runs full throttle and purrs soo loud. Picking up a toy also gets him to purr. Jengo purrs when he's scared but he also purrs as soon as he sees I'm going to pet him. A good rub down gets him purring.

Both my girls purr when getting loved, but Azidi will purr if I simply pet her. Kilifi needs some convincing I am not trying to play
