Robert, I'm sorry you took it that way because I didn't think that the roof of my enclosure is toxic to my cats. I'm not going to start an online argument though so will in future avoid your posts. Please do me the courtesy of leaving me alone in turn.

I stated "NON TOXIC" powder coating. do you always to to shot me down can't you just once say thanks. Instead of making sure I'm wrong. Trust I will never try to help again. You've made it plenty clear my opinion means nothing to you. Sorry for trying...

Uh...I don't know where the hostility is coming from, but it does not belong here, Robert...

Does anyone know where to purchase 4' x 8' sheets of steel enclosure material.

The stuff Home Depot has is just to week.

Must it be sheets? Lowes sells galvanized 14 or 12 gauge 2x3 fencing that is quite sturdy. Stronger than Home Depot stuff. It comes in rolls though in 5, 4, or 3 foot heights.

No, I guess a roll would work if it is strong enough. Thank You I will stop by Lowe's and see what they have.

These fur-babies are precious so please don't get upset when someone over-reacts wanting to protect their baby! Mine is still a kitten and bites or chews everything in sight, yours might be more well behaved.

So, to be fair, if the cat were able and inclined to chew the roof, PVC as a coating is not a good idea. Phthalates were banned in toys in the United States in 2008. In Europe, the ban extends to many products. And it is worse if DEHP is used as the plasticizer. Exposure to DEHP can damage the liver, kidneys, lungs, and reproductive system, particularly the developing testes of prenatal and neonatal males. It is known as a gender-bender.

Weather it is just the roof or not the fact is that "PVC" anywhere is not a good idea it is a bad product "PVC" kills and if someone is bringing that to your attention why not just say thanks. And my cats climb upside down every time a bird lands on the roof and it is 12 feet high. They scale it like it was a wall.
