Why does my cat wait to poop until I come home?

The neighbors hubby goes out In the woods and four wheels on the weekends so out thought is that he tracked em home. I'm in a old farm house and he usually goes in the basement to change which has zero insulation between my apartment. since all the laundry goes down there.. That's probably how I got them

Don't make him gain too quickly. Rapid gains are usually fat...not Muscle. From reading your posts, it appears he is gaining, but slowly. If he is active and healthy, no worries....as long as he is gaining and not losing.

Thank you for the reassurance! He seems to be stronger than he was now. Pulling himself to the top of his cat tree like a ninja now. So that would make a lot of sense. I feel a lot better now

I know the concern we feel for our babies. Sometimes, we OVER worry. If he is strong and playing and healthy, then all is well. :)
Glad I was able to help . ;)

I agree with Cary, let him gain at his own rate, if you overfeed him, he will just pack on fat.
