So I recieved flight confirmation info today. his vet checkup was great they did a stool sample and everything. (Been dewormed twice) they like to deworm three times In a year because they use more gentle stuff. So are sending the final dose of dewormed and said give one more dose once hits 6 months. He'll be leaving Thursday night and arriving Friday at noon. Boyfriend will pick up and he is curious as to what he should bring with. Aside from the obvious ID ad reference number. I heard something mentioned about using bottled water initially? the vet appointment is on Monday and they wanted to give second round of fvrcp. It's only been 2 weeks since the first round. is that too soon? They also want to do a fecal test as well. (He just had one and I will have paperwork and health certificate showing this). wouldn't this be a pointless expense when it was just completed? my room is kitty proofed, and tonight I am turning one of my totes into a litter box. and finish gluing the scratcher. any last pieces of advice all? anything I may have missed? Pardon me I'm oozing with anticipation!

They use clay and feline pine. I already use feline pine for the buns so that's what I went with

Only one problem... Not near enough toys.. You will be back to the store in no time... Also, just a note, If I am looking at that picture correctly, the litter box is directly in front of the air vent. That can create 2 problems.. One reduction of air from the vent due to being blocked, and 2 once Mr Kitty does his business the moving air (especially heat) will circulate aroma that many may find distasteful.

I thought about that, but then the rabbit (giant dog cage used to be there blocking even half the doorway. And yes it blew hay all over my room. I think this is why my allergies have gotten better over the past couple months. My body has built a tolerance of hay dust and dander all over my room for 6 months lol. I think I'll pull the litterbox from the wall a bit. I feel like it is better there then next to my bed. time will only tell I don't really have much room elsewhere to put it until his quarantine is Done. And yes there could very well be a toy trip In the future. But I figured I would play it safe and get a light assortment to see what he likes then bulk up on the favorites. He has an assortment pack with all sorts of bell balls etc. Some with catnip. a light ball thingy. A toy that crinkles like a plastic bag. And a feather wand. and some refillable noisey catnip toys. A tennis ball too and I have a big red plastic ball which the buns play with I may share with him if he doesn't try to pop it lol, not sure what else I'm missing in assortment,

I looked it up they blanket ban fennec foxes. So if you consider wild animal no, if you consider canine like ny then yes. I believe a permit is required. I don't understand how any generation savannah is legal but not a fennec fox. this puzzles me that ny state is doing the opposite. crazy

A fennec fox is a wild/exotic animal so viewed and treated differently than a hybrid - certainly not the same as a 6th generation Savannah. Where do you now see that they blanket ban Fennecs? Are you talking about NYC or NY or ?

NYC doesn't allow any exotics what so ever no hedgehogs even. Arizona seems to ban wild animals in general foxes in general etc. they aren't as specific as ny state. Where they say things like no hybrid dogs consisting of coy dogs or wolf dogs. Named specifically. no hybrid cats including serval mix, Asian leopard mix unless five generations or later from its ancestor, they lay out the rules ironclad lol. guess we pay rediculous taxes for something.
