Hi Patti, I use plain pumpkin purree…it does contain a small amount of sugar (not sure from pumpkin or added) at 4% sugar. I've always avoided the spiced pumpkin and of course avoid pumpkin pie mix. I try to find the most basic pumpkin purree with lowest sugar content (though my vet said a little sugar won't hurt them - i sometimes find it gives them a little more energy post pumpkin). dj

Oh good, I didn't realize that plain pumpkin had sugar in it, but I'm sure it makes it tastier for the kitties

I agree with Paige. Remember that servals eat birds and rodents so I would try to start with those - chicken, turkey, duck, rabbit... but Savannahs will eat about anything - beef, bison, deer, elk, pork, salmon, etc. Some have different tastes so it's best to experiment with a little at a time rather than purchasing in bulk then finding out that no one likes it.

LOL, the only kind of meat that I have found that Elsa won't eat is a McDonald's Hamburger... Some say it contains Beef, but that is only a rumor... She loves other beef, just not from McDonald's.
