Ziggy's at the vet to remove the cyst under his chin. He was pretty quiet on the way in. It should be a pretty minor operation, and the anesthesia will be the highest risk.

He had an operation a couple of years ago to remove a bowel obstruction, and there are no reports of adverse issues with the anesthesia at that time.

He's having his tear ducts flushed while he's under as he has a buildup of gunk in the inside corner of his eyes every morning, even after two weeks of eye drops.

And I've asked them to look for any reason for his difficulty breathing through his nose.

We're back from two weeks in Toronto as well as a wedding over the weekend, and I should be more active on the forum again.

Please send Ziggy best wishes on a successful operation an a quick recovery.

Sorry guys somehow I have left a message on the wrong thread! Heaven knows how I managed that it's been a rough day :( I really hope that Ziggy comes through okay and that he makes a really quick recovery. He sounds like a real little fighter.

Please let us know how Ziggy's surgery went. Have you run a URD panel on him? One of the most common causes of difficulty breathing or a stuffy nose is a chronic upper respiratory infection.

P.S. - we've missed you!!!
