Ziggy had anisocoria (unequal pupil dilation)

Very scary, Patti! I'm glad to hear Emma has recovered from her ordeal...minus the unequal pupil size.

Perhaps in time it will return to normal. If not, her recovery is still a miracle!

Thanks Paige and Pam, Emma is such a weird cat, but she is definitely a survivor!

Charley, I'm glad to hear that Biz got over his eye issue quickly. Some URIs are chronic, so even though a cat can be asymptomatic for years he can still pass it on to other cats... that might be what happened with Jengo and Biz.

Really scary Patti and I too am glad that Emma is okay. You must have felt so helpless not being able to get her to the vet. I am so pleased she has pulled through she is clearly a fighter! It is so helpful that you shared this story especially for those of us with cats that are not always so easy to handle. I am keeping everything crossed that I don't need to make any visits to the vet as long as possible!!

Sorry Chris, somehow I missed the beginning of this thread when I read it earlier. I really hope that Ziggy is okay. Sounded very traumatic for all of you.

Ziggy's anisocoria cleared up completely and has not reoccurred. I'm in the ear cleaning camp in his case.

Patti--and I think I have my hands full with Ziggy! You have me beat by a mile! Glad Emma was able to heal herself. Very scary.

Glad to hear Biz is better. Sounds more like a scratch to me, but I'm not a vet.
