Thanks for the replies and kind comments. I was actually expecting a lot of crying the first few days, but so far she has done very little of that. She cries a little when I leave I her alone in the room, but nothing like I expected. I'll be sure to post some more pics soon.

She cries a little when we leave as she does prefer our company. When we are present she just plays and seems to be evaluating us. I'm going to sleep on the couch in her room for a while....probably the duration of the 2 wk isolation period.
Savannah Kitten's New Home Manual, Chapter 1, Training your human from the word "go"! Page 3. "Whenever your human(s) leaves you alone in your quarantine room, immediately begin mournfully meowing. Humans have an instinctual guilt complex for small furry creatures. If done properly, you might even get them to sleep in the room for the quarantine period. If so, congratulations, you now OWN them."

Thanks for the compliments everyone. She is starting to try to get out of her room now. She's not trying hard. She mostly just gets close to the door like waiting for the perfect opportunity.

When should I start trying to get her used to wearing her walking jacket? Should I wait until after the isolation period so she should trust me more?
