CBD oil can work really well for stress/calming, if you decide to try it make sure it is sourced from hemp only, and give a very low dose to start - you want calm not comatose LOL. I've had customers use it for post-surgery calming, but not for aggression (in cats, dogs yes), so I'd love know if it works for you or not.

No I don’t want comatose! ;);) The vet told me how much to give her, and it is a very low amount. Do you recall what the stuff that you put in the water is called?

I tried this on Bear for territorial aggression. He wouldn't drink the water, but will eat a drop on a freeze-dried treat. I only give it him when he's having an "episode", and it calms him. I got mine locally, so there's probably a similar option in a pet shop near you.

Thank you! I will definitely look for it at my local holistic pet food store. If not I will order it from Chewy!

My vet had us use Nutricalm. Below are the ingredients. As you can see, everything is quite benign. I put up to 10 drops in her food as needed. It does not make her sleepy but definitely takes the edge off.

L-Tryptophan (Pharmaceutical grade), L-Theanine (Suntheanine brand), Ashwagandha extract (Withania somnifera), Catnip extract (nepeta cataria), Valerian root extract (valeriana officinalis), Calcium (as aspartate), Magnesium (as aspartate); Other ingredients: Water, fructose, glycerin, natural salmon flavor, citric acid, potassium sorbate, xanthan gum.

Thanks Ninja and Rafiki. I was able to find the product you mentioned Ninja at my local holistic pet store. Kebi gets even more aggressive when she eats catnip, so I would have to steer clear of anything with catnip in it. She does fine smelling it, but I gave her a little bit to eat and she even growled and hissed at me!!! It was pretty scary. I’ve never seen anything like it:oops::oops:

Weird! CBD might be your best bet, then. It's becoming more widely available, so you can probably find treats if you aren't wanting to deal with a dropper and dosages. Try to source your CBD from Colorado, if you decide to use it, they have the best products/program of that sort, imho.
